John 11 The Musical Reviews
This was the Birmingham Community Gospel Choirs’ premiere performance of John 11 the musical dramatisation.
It was the first exclusive launch of the choir moving into a new dimension of music and drama in their 17th year.
This original work was written for the choir by Maxine Brooks and it was a groundbreaking event.
Each performance was performed with slight differences so you got something different on all three nights performances.

I have to tell you that after this production, I’m seeing messages from other choir members saying how much their friends and family members who attended over the last 3 days enjoyed it. Their saying that we could take the play anywhere. It moved some people to tears. Pastor Stephen Brooks said to me that this has raised the choir to a whole new level. God is up to something regarding this choir and I feel a special anointing on you and BCGC.🙌🏾🙌🏾

Incredible and Outstanding Isn't Going to Cut It!
I recently attended the John 11 performance by the BCGC, I actually don’t have the right word to say how amazing it was, as even incredible and outstanding isn’t going to cut it. The music, lyrics, script, the choir everything draws you in, captures you. The songs stay in your head, It leaves you wanting more, so much more I personally attended all three performances, if there was a 4th i would of been there and it wouldn’t be stinketh ;). It’s good for all ages, my daughter loved every second. You can feel God’s presence from beginning to the end. Maxine and the choir I feel blessed to have seen John 11 and I pray to see it again and to see how God works in other productions in the future. Many thanks for an incredible Easter weekend its one I’ll cherish forever. May God Bless you all 🙏🏻

A Wonderful Inspiring God Filled Event
Ahh thank you Maxine it was great to be a part of such a wonderful inspiring God filled event. It was a fantastic play that I can see being performed at different churches and in Theatres. Hi went to see this fantastic musical on Easter Sunday song with other members of The Net Church. It was amazing. You would never realise that this was Pastor Maxine Brooks first musical. The choir were sensational and I am blessed that one of the choir members worships with us. Will done everyone from the backroom staff, without whom it would not have happened to the characters themselves. Special mention to the Narrator who was clear and confident.
So roll on the next one. Congratulations to all of you. No wonder every performance was sold out.
